Daily Nugget #256 - Federal Job Creation

"Be advised, that the federal government is a collection agency, of sorts, that reaps its revenue from those who earn it (taxpayers - i.e. you and me).

Hence, the government cannot "create" jobs, because it does not produce any goods or services, from employment or jobs can be derived.

It is only to the degree that the government, chooses to exert regulation over the free market and true job creators (the American people), that our economy expands or contracts.

The governement can create, however, bureaucracies at the taxpayer's expense and employ citizens to facilitate or hinder the productivity of our economic system.

Government does function in vital roles within the fabric of the American economy, without question. However, job creation, is not one of them." - Dr. Wick Daddy
