People are imperfect and predisposed to error. But when we fall in love with people in postions of authority, our thinking can become distorted. The theater for disagreeable discourse becomes eroded and any viewpoint that is contrary to that leader's position is dismissed as racist and void of logic.
Other parameters of governance can also be dissolved, if not closely guarded.
We can clearly see examples of this erosion in five specific areas.
1. The institution of marriage - Today, because of, in part, the administration's 'evolution', it is a widely held progressive belief, that if you support marriage between a man and a woman (you know, that silly old Biblical definition), you are an evil racist that hates the gay marriage philosophy and all of its supporters.
2. Religious freedom - If you are a faith-oriented employer, you must provide not only birth control prescriptions to your employees as a required heath coverage component, but it must also be done at your expense.
3. Citizenship - If you are an unemployed American citizen, you must now compete with an emboldened, undocumented, sub-population that has new rights and privileges that provide you with new competitors in the job market.
4. Law Enforcement - Police officers that attempt to detain individuals suspected of being illegally within U.S. borders, will now have no federal support to enforce laws that are already on the books. There is also a hotline now set up, compliments of U.S. taxpayer dollars, that allows illegal immigrants to contact the federal government and report improper treatment that may have been inflicted upon them by law enforcement officials, attempting to simply enforce the law.
5. Free Enterprise - If you own a business that is successful, you didn't build it, someone else did. But if it is successful you get to pay the taxes, pay the employees and file for bankruptcy if the business should become unsuccessful.
6. Voting rights - If you happen to be white and are harrassed at the polling station, while voting by a member of the New Black Panther party, you can look forward to the Justice Department taking no action whatsoever. You see, it would be a "disgrace" to the Attorney General's "people". Yes, he did say that. But wait, isn't he the Attorney General for all of the American people? But wait............there's more.

The six points discussed above are only the tip of the iceberg.
But all is not lost.
We, the people, the most powerful branch of our government can change it. We can change it now, in November, and forever after, by doing the following:
6 Step plan to, collectively, restore equality and ethical dialogue in politics and society.
1. We must identify with people's behaviors and conduct, not their skin color
and intentions.
2. We must police our own language. It is not okay, for example, to use racial slurs, publicly or privately. If we have varying standards for our own language, based upon the people that are in our midst, we are perpetuating this foolish conduct.
3. We must know that all people are not evil, simply because they belong to a certain ethnic group.
4. We must understand that there are people who have come to this country with nothing and without speaking the English language; however, they have managed to prosper, because of our free enterprise system. They have also managed to enter the country legally.
5. We must allow public discourse, within respectful boundaries. A person is not a racist, simply because they disagree with your belief system. A person's idea can be disagreed with, on the basis of its merit, logic and the sanity contained therein.
