Identity Politics - Lesson 1

Party people, can you recall back to the time frame of the confirmation hearings for a young, attractive black, oops......pardon me, African American woman by the name of Susan Rice?
I knew you would.

In typical fashion, the mainstream media has dismissed, once again, the debacle of these hearings, as another glaring example of racism.

For the record, any disagreement with a non-conservative viewpoint is deemed racist.

If you are a black non-liberal/democrat/progressive thinker you will be labeled as an Uncle Tom, or some who simply lacks compassion.

If you are of Anglo descent and hold similar views, then you are simply an undercover member of the KKK.

This, my friends, is identity politics, which is simply a mirror image of Dr. Martin Luther King's philosophy.

The 2 ingredients that are almost always absent from the mainstream media gospel are these: facts and logic.

Men are judged, not by the content of their character, but by the color of their skin.

Here is an example of the facts:

Susan was directly involved in the blockage of the Sudanese government's attempt to turn over intelligence and the location of Osama Bin Laden over to the American government, during the Clinton administration.........way back in 1997; four years prior to the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks.

Based on the facts of documented testimony, is it logical to conclude that there may be a better candidate for the U.N. cabinet position? Absolutely.

Will the media point this out?

Forget about it.

But you can check it out for yourself:

What will the mainstream media tell you?
The same thing that they say about everything else: it was Bush's fault.

Next question: Am I insinuating that 9/11 was Ms. Rice's fault?

Absolutely not.

But what I am saying is this: The failures of our government, are the direct reflection of an uninformed electorate.

And unfortunately, if the train isn't stopped now, the victims hardest hit, will be the ones that are least responsible: our children.

When an informed citizen evaluates factual data and questions the sources of that information, then he or she is equipped to render a values-based judgment.

Any scenario contrary to the former shall result in exactly what we see in Washington D.C. today:
reckless finger pointing, unaccounted-for non-answers and entitlement-laden promises from a few, that are implemented, by taking money from others.

(Others are you, by the way. The 100% who are paying an increased social security tax and a shiny, brand new health care tax; that we were told was not a tax.)
