Daily Nugget: The New Plantation, defined.

Before we define the T.N.P., a contextual backdrop must be established.

It is imperative that a simple philosophy is embraced: Wealthy people and corporations are evil.

This ridiculously redundant mantra is the cornerstone of popular political messaging.

But let us take a closer, although abbreviated, look into the lyrical content of this song of socioeconomic deconstruction.

1. Once a person is convinced that wealthy people and corporations are evil, the natural psychological progression can then take root; which is: Wealth, itself, is evil. Hence, the notion of becoming wealthy is now internally repulsive, because people are now viewed as being incapable of attaining wealth and, simultaneously, making good moral choices, because wealth, itself is what makes one evil.

2. Conversely, if you are not wealthy, you are a good person.....or at least a better person than someone who is wealthy.

3. Once a person has established this thought process, he/she is now controllable by the messenger, who initially presented the rationale.

3. Once a person is controllable, then he/she is now able to engage some of the additional philosophical building blocks.

We have listed a few of them:

  • Money earned from a business is evil, because you didn't build it. Someone else made it possible for you to do it. Therefore, everyone is entitled to your earned income.
  • As a business owner, you are incapable of making the proper choices, regarding how your money should be distributed, because you are inherently evil.
  • Hence, the only entity that is capable of correctly distributing your ill-gotten wealth, is, of course, the federal government.
  • If you are a white business owner, you are twice as evil. If you are a white male business owner, you are, evil manifest, in human flesh, because your ancestors perpetuated slavery.
  • The only honest money comes from government entitlement programs and jobs that protected by unions.
  • Unions do not employ card check programs to secure votes for a particular party.
  • Unions protect workers from evil corporations.
And the list goes on................

What must be understood is that, in any society, the 'have nots' will always outnumber the 'haves' as long as this poisoned gospel cocktail is consumed.

Limitations must first be embraced, before they are self imposed.

This philosophy did not originate with a man, a government entity or an administration.

The philosophy originated with the one who desires to steal (self reliance), kill (the entrepreneurial spirit) and destroy (the American dream).

This same 'being' believes that all men are not created equal and that mankind must be categorically separated, because of a lack of "fair treatment". (which is an oxymoron, in and of itself; in an environment where imperfect people live, breathe and are influenced by their experiences and emotions.)

This being also believes that faith is futile, unless it is placed in government or any other entity, besides our Creator.

Why?

Because all men are really not created equal and are not endowed with certain inalienable rights, by their Creator.

Since this is the case, mankind requires assistance, from an entity, that will "give" them back what was taken from them.

This is the philosophy of the New Plantation.

But we must know this truth:

As long as one man can prosper, then all men have the ability to prosper; although one man may seem to have a swifter path to prosperity than another.

What is imperative, however, is that we get off the plantation, as quickly as possible, for those who are counting upon our success.

We must:

Work.

Pursue our dreams.

Fail.

Fail again.

Succeed.

Take a risk.

Be fruitful and multiply.

Leave an inheritance for your children's children.

If you choose a path contrary to the one, detailed in this post, you are not evil.

You need only be aware that an alternative path exists, that does not involve redistribution.
